CE Buying Manager - Cut Flowers & Indoor plants

HOW IS WORKING IN THE COMMERCIAL TEAM SPECIAL?

We aim to serve our shoppers a little better every day. Thus, the product is the core of our business. In our commercial department, Buying Managers are responsible for negotiating with our suppliers to achieve the best price and quality combo.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver sourcing plan that drive great customer focused proposition, including attractive range, fine-tuned trade plan and competitive prices
• Ensure long term customer led category plan and KPIs control
• Effective supplier portfolio management and improvement across countries
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers to manage relevant product cost elements for regular and promotional range, that drive better value for our customers
• Cooperation with several departments to deliver strategic category plan
• Responsible for category in 3 countries (HU,CZ,SK )
• Select flowers and plants that are fresh, trendy, and appealing to customers.
• Follow seasonal trends and plan assortments that fit local tastes.
• Collaborate with store teams to ensure great presentation.
• I always try to make things simpler for stores
• I am never afraid to deliver bad news and always act with integrity
• The Joint Buy volume is exceeded (as applicable)

REQUIREMENTS:

• University/Colleague degree
• At least 2 years buying experience in Commercial
• Appreciation and understanding of range and trade planning
• Intermediate English knowledge
• Understanding of category management
• A creative eye and strong sense of aesthetics
• Strategic thinking and ability to work in matrix structure
• Proactive attitude and outstanding communication skills
• Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced level of analytical and planning skills
