You will be responsible for

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:

 

  • Defining and delivering the long-term Digital E-commerce Channels (\"DCh\") strategy, acquisition, and ongoing engagement plans across CE markets.
  • Ensuring that Online is managed safely and legally, mitigating any risk to the Tesco brand
  • Aligning \"DCh\" priorities and future propositions with business goals and evolving customer needs.
  • Translating digital shopping trends, customer behaviours, and competitive insights into strategic actions and long-term plans.
  • Ensuring delivery of key \"DCh\" initiatives, performance targets, and seamless end-to-end execution through strong cross-functional coordination and alignment.
  • Identifying capability gaps and future needs to evolve the \"DCh\" operating model and ensure CE wide readiness for growth.
  • Leading the \"DCh\" planning cycle, ensuring clear focus, investment logic, and measurable outcomes.
  • Owning the governance of digital initiatives and cross-functional delivery streams.
  • Championing data-led decision making and embedding a test and learn mindset.
  • Ensuring consistency and scalability of digital solutions across markets while responding to local needs.
  • Spotting, nurturing, and developing talents through coaching and mentoring.
  • Leading, inspiring, and developing my team, building a high-performing and motivated \"DCh\" function.
  • Representing \"DCh\" at the CE leadership level and influencing group-level digital strategy
  • Partnering with the Commercial and Customer teams to build a great end to end customer experience.

You will need
