Partnering with the business to create and drive value and achieve our strategic objectives. Acting as a finance expert providing strategic support, challenging business decisions, aligning financial and non-financial stakeholders, shaping functional strategy, overseeing financial planning, ensuring consistent standards and developing team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, develop and coach a team of Finance Business Partners, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Set priorities, allocate workload and ensure effective delivery across team activities.
- Drive consistency of financial modelling, reporting standards and governance across all markets.
- Role-model the finance business partner vision of true co-piloting by fostering strong collaboration across various finance and business teams, constructively challenging, recommending change underpinned by strong financial expertise.
- Build finance business partnering capability within the team through coaching, feedback and development planning.
- Represent Finance in cross-functional projects and governance forums and act as a trusted partner to leadership teams.
- Oversee financial support for investment decisions, including new store openings, lease extensions and rent renewals, renewals and other strategic initiatives.Review and challenge business cases prepared by the team to ensure robust assumptions and high-quality decision support.
- Lead post-investment reviews and ensure learnings are incorporated into future decisions.
- Support leadership in evaluating investment choices, risks and return opportunities as well as financial implications of strategic decisions.
- Monitor delivery against approved plans and challenge variances where required. Ensure visibility of risks, opportunities and mitigation actions. Support prioritisation and budget allocation within approved investment frameworks.
- Drive simplification and continuous improvement initiatives delivering efficiencies and promote sharing of best practices across markets.

REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in Finance / FP&A
- Previous people management experience
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced English (C1)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
