WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT?
Customer Insight is a pivotal driving force of our business decisions at Tesco Central Europe.
Purpose of the role is to synthesize a multitude of research and analytic sources on customer perception, behaviour, market trends, and turn them into a clear insight narrative on Tesco’s performance on our czech, hungarian and slovakian markets. Ensure we have the right data, tools, and capabilities in the team to enable this.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own Customer Insight agency relationships for the CE region
- Own CE Market Data and Customer Research roadmap including reporting
- Create a clear Customer and Market narrative that brings together behaviour analysis, market performance, customer experience and customer research inputs.
- Write executive summaries and conduct presentations, workshops.
- Coordinate the collaboration across Tesco Insight Centre of Excellence
- Own CE Insight capability building plan, aligned with the Group Insight team
- Lead and overseeing a team of three specialists.
- Synthesize inputs into a clear business narrative, engage senior stakeholders and drive customer-centric decisions.
- Delivering internal and external data & research sources, defining report and solution development briefs, and developing insight capabilities across the team.
- Work closely with the in-country partners on insight projects and will coordinate the collaboration with in-house analytic teams across multiple functions, as well as agencies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University studies
- 5+ years’ of working experience in Customer Insight, preferably analytics as well as research.
- Upper intermediate level of English language knowledge
- Strong understanding on retail market
- People management experience
- Outstanding storytelling skill
- Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of seniority
- Working experience at multinational companies with a matrix structure is an advantage
