WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:
Partnering with Exec Members, Business Leaders, Directors, Business Partners and Managers to design structures and roles for their teams to deliver strategy, Operating Model and OD principles.
Driving a strategic vision and plan for how we structure the business to succeed and respond to upcoming market trends in the next 3-5 years, based on both internal and external perspectives. Key Partner and Advisor to business stakeholders.
- Working in partnership with Business Leaders and People Business Partners to understand organization change requirements, supporting and influencing them to identify design improvements to fulfil organisation strategy/ objectives, Operating Models and Organisation Design.
- Running OD workshops with leaders to support changes and excellent written and verbal communications and documentation.
- Advising and challenging the business on lean, effective and consistent structure solutions in line with best practice, OD (Organisation Design) principles and aligned to business plans and Tesco Service Model.
- Identifying and engaging with Business Leaders around the purpose, principles and benefits of change.
- Developing data led solutions and structuring options and recommendations by preparing engagement and discuss papers (incl. detailed insight for different scenarios, organizational charts, drivers of resources...). Ensuring a joined-up approach with all interdependencies considered.
- Ensuring that critical stakeholders understand the impact/ investment that will be required to make change happen.
- Delivering the structure change by following agreed process, alongside other colleagues from People and Finance.
- Identifying and agreeing who will implement the change and how the progress will be tracked.
- Leading evaluation to ensure design changes are embedded and outcomes evaluated against success measures.
- Managing the job descriptions process (content validation, ensuring evaluation, storage).
- Providing headcount data, trends and insight for stakeholders in cooperation with the data team.
- Overseeing, validating and refining Organisation Design blueprints such as structure change, OD principles, work levels, etc.
- Providing support and expertise regarding OD processes across the business.
- Building trusted relationships with all stakeholders to systematically assess the impact of the design on Organisational Effectiveness (factors such as behaviour, attitudes, culture, systems and communication flows).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- University education
- Min. 5-6 years of relevant working experience
- Advanced level of English language knowledge (C1)
- Experience of Managing change projects, developing structures
- Experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management
