This role will see the successful candidate lead the scoping, design, and development of strategically aligned learning solutions for colleagues and managers across the Tesco group. Building blended solutions that equip colleagues and managers with the right skills, behaviours, and values to deliver our strategic priorities.
With significant experience in blended, innovative learning design, you'll be able to balance a more strategic perspective with a pragmatic approach in providing expert advice and suggesting creative solutions to colleague and manager development gaps.

• Encourage data-driven, learner-led capability building.
• Adapt to changing needs and stay updated continuously.
• Use analytics to evaluate and improve learning programs.
• Model collaborative behaviors and foster a learning culture.
• Partner with governance and tech teams for planning and digital enhancements.
• Align learning solutions with Talent and DE&I strategies.
• Manage external partners and design/delivery budgets.
• Stay informed on industry trends and curate high-quality content.
Operational Skills:
- Learning Design & Delivery: Skilled in creating and delivering inclusive learning content across formats, combining technical and behavioural development.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with commercial acumen, data-driven insights, and a focus on continuous improvement and behavioural change.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Experienced in managing senior stakeholders, consulting, facilitating, and presenting clearly and persuasively.
- Innovation & Best Practice: Familiar with current learning trends and best practices, maintaining a growth mindset and challenging norms.
- Collaboration & Change Leadership: Proficient in cross-functional collaboration, change management, and aligning learning with diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
- Communication & Influence: Communicates effectively to engage, inspire, and align teams and markets.
Experience:
• Show expertise in learning design for various formats, including virtual and online platforms.
• Integrate best practices into Tesco and maintain a commitment to CPD.
• Have expert knowledge of diversity and inclusion.
• Understand both technical and behavioural learning design.
• Build a network of talent and development specialists.
• Manage and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Stay updated on learning trends and insights.
• Link learning initiatives to business goals.
