We’re looking for a Software Development Manager to lead one of our Profile teams. This is a great opportunity to grow your leadership career while working on diverse and high-impact challenges across customer data and communications.
Your first area of focus will be driving the delivery of a new system for auditing customer data and automating critical legal requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and product teams in both the UK and Poland, helping shape our approach to data governance, legal compliance, wider architecture and ways of working.
Salary
UoP: 31 000 - 40 000 PLN gross/month

Technical Skills:
Experience in delivering Java 8+ (or any other JVM language) based software solutions using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Kotlin, etc
Proficiency with test suites like Junit, Mockito, and Wire mock
Experience and familiarity with Public Cloud platforms such as Azure
Strong knowledge of software and architectural design patterns
Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, IaaC, deployment patterns, etc
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Personal Skills:
A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing software development teams of 6-9 people
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven success in building, developing, and leading high-performance software engineering teams
Experience in hiring, retaining, and developing engineers, ensuring growth opportunities and maintaining motivation
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
Passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
