About the role
As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers, driving the delivery of high-quality software solutions that create measurable value—especially under time constraints. You’ll be responsible for technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
You’ll work in close partnership with Product Managers to shape and refine requirements, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood and translated into actionable technical solutions. This collaboration is key to aligning priorities, managing scope, and delivering features that truly matter to our customers and partners.
You’ll also need the ability to operate in a customer-facing environment building trust, understanding partner needs, and translating feedback into meaningful product and engineering outcomes.
This role demands startup-like agility: the ability to pivot quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and deliver value in an environment where speed and adaptability are key to success.
You’ll also play a key role in building relationships with our retail partners, which may include occasional travel and flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones.

You will be responsible for
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

You will need
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, startup-like environment where priorities shift and speed matters
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and external partners to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive, value-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineersTrack record of owning projects end-to-end and providing technical leadership
  • Strong system design and architecture skills
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
  • Experience in high-scale environments (e.g., e-commerce, millions of API calls)
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
  • 6+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Proven experience managing software engineering teams (approx. 8 people)
