You will be responsible for

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

  • Coordinating / managing local HO People operation team within the country (People Partners, Coordinators) to build relationships and support the leaders and colleagues in the Hungarian Head office
  • Ensuring that in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees are being delivered properly by People Partners responsible for respective functions reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. In case of some misalignment or confusion stepping in as an expert in that are provided proper guidance.
  • Overseeing proper execution of the core people operations processes: e.g. recruitment, onboarding, deploying structure changes, career development, performance management, disciplinary actions - misconduct, dismissal, pay, bonuses, offboarding and in case of some misalignment or confusion stepping in as an expert in that are provided proper guidance.
  • Overseeing and contributing from high level perspective in deployment of engagement activities and surveys (EVM, Helping hands, Xmas, Well being etc.).
  • Ensuring that People strategy / People plan and structural changes are implemented properly in time across the office in country.
  • Acting as People Partner supporting all parts of employee life cycle in respective departments/functions.
  • Being part of the development of people related projects, implementation and gathering feedback from managers and colleagues for future improvements.
You will need

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • At least 5-6 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
  • HR/People partnering experience within the FMCG sector (retail sector is an advantage)
  • Experience with managing a team
  • Building credible relationships and working across a matrix organisation
  • Knowledge of labor law
  • Communication, presentation, coaching and influencing skills
  • Prioritisation and time management
  • Ability to have challenging conversations
  • Confidentiality
