Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be embedded within SRM Operations and actively participate in day-to-day operational meetings. They 
will proactively identify inefficiencies and take ownership in suggesting, designing, and delivering new analytical tools and process 
improvements that simplify ways of working and enhance decision quality, alongside effective project management.
Preference will be given to candidates from the retail industry with a fair understanding of Space, Range, and merchandising 
fundamentals.
In this job, I’m accountable for:
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities: 
- Attending and contributing to weekly range, space, and optimisation meetings to ensure analytics are grounded in real business 
context.
- Maintain and enhance the existing portfolio of Tableau and Excel based ranging tools, ensuring data remains at the heart of SRM 
decision making.
- Proactively identify opportunities to simplify SRM processes and recommend the creation of new tools, dashboards, or data products 
— not just build tools when instructed.
- Proactively lead the recommendations and project management the changes.
- Design and develop new analytical tools (including Tableau dashboards) that provide richer insight, reduce manual effort, and minimise 
reliance on ad hoc analysis or coding support.
- Automate or semi automate key elements of the range change critical path, including packs, reports, and recurring outputs.
- Leverage scheduling and automation capabilities to significantly reduce analyst involvement in repetitive tasks.
- Actively manage and influence the data pipeline, identifying new data sources or enhancements that can improve existing tools or 
unlock new insights.
- Work closely with SRM colleagues to ensure all tools and outputs are clear, intuitive, and usable for non analyst stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc analytical requests where required, prioritising work in line with SRM and business needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of the end to end range change process, ensuring analytical deliverables are appropriately timed and 
designed.
- Manage your own workplan effectively, ensuring timely, high quality delivery across multiple priorities

- Excellent analytical skills
- Proven experience in analytical roles, ideally within Space, 
- Tableau and Python
Range, Merchandising, Retail Planning, or a closely related
