About the role
Job Summary:
As a Procurement Manager in the Software category, I will leverage my expertise in strategic sourcing and category management to
drive cost savings and efficiency. I will manage categories/subcategories, spend, and suppliers related to procurement for Software
Licences & Maintenance, etc..... I will develop and implement category strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead vendor
selection and contract negotiations to ensure value creation and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
In this job, I’m accountable for:

- Develop and implement effective category strategies that drive cost savings and efficiency and create additional value for clients
through innovative service and product delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align strategies accordingly while maintaining a category-focused
approach that drives value and innovation.
- Stay updated on market trends and conditions that impact the Category, including pricing, supply/demand dynamics, and innovation
opportunities, to ensure the Category's offerings remain competitive, valuable, and aligned with business needs and expectations
- Establish and cultivate robust relationships with key suppliers, fostering mutual benefits, enhancing quality and reliability, and driving
innovation in vendor partnerships
- Manage risks within the Category (including compliance with legislation) and develop contingency plans to mitigate the risks
- Lead the vendor selection process, including the execution of RFPs, RFQs, and negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms and
conditions, ensuring value creation for the business
- Control of business spend and actively minimise costs through improved use of tools; processes and application of best practices
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Making decisions within policy and procedure framework to deliver business plans
- Driving and implementing CI Projects and innovation
- Develop and lead a hard-working team enabling them to reach their potential to deliver a world class procurement function

- Bachelors in Procurement, Commerce, Business, Economics or
and analyze spend data (e.g., commodity costs, TCO)
a category related subject from a reputed University
- Must be able to present succinct messages, communicate
- MBA / Professional accreditation from CIPS or equivalent
professionally and oversee the strategic decision-making
institute preferable
- Business stakeholder and supplier relationship management
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a sourcing role. Expertise in

Software category and understanding of UK market preferable
- Working knowledge of the lean six sigma framework to drive CI
