We are currently recruiting a Modern Stocktake Coordinator to work within our Business Support function and stores to support the delivery of streams of work developed to support, improve or transform our stores / DC and operating model ensuring we always serve customers, communities and the planet a little better every day.

You will be responsible for
  • Downloading and sending floor plans for suppliers to support with the preparation of the Modern Stock Take process
  • Complete weekly supplier reporting, collating data, producing accurate reports and filing to maintain due diligence
  • Plan, present and craft fresh food delivery files
  • Complete store details updates to maintain integrity of data
  • Complete delivery amendments
  • Review store stock systems on morning of stock take to ensure that no deliveries have impacted the Moment of Certainty for all stores
  • Complete finance summary and send to relevant partners
  • Complete Modern Stock Take communications to retail and distribution teams/partners
  • Respond to store and group queries around scheduling
  • Complete weekly system schedule reviews
  • Craft and running the flash summary
  • Complete finance tasks and controls to ensure that our suppliers are paid accurately, on time and Tesco are charged accurately for all counts completed
  • Complete analysis of sub group charge rate weekly, ensuring that all sub groups are changed in the accurate band
  • Maintain the MST count schedule to ensure that the count process and service continues to be delivered according to the business needs
  • Ensure the integrity of data related to MST reporting
  • Complete store or DC visits for trials, development and spotting improvement opportunities
You will need
  • Experience of retail and store operations
  • Experience of working with external contractors/suppliers
  • Excellent communication
  • Excellent planning and prioritising skills
  • Analytical skills and experience of report writing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of using MS office, particularly Excel
