We have an exciting opportunity here for a Paid Search Executive to join the Media Planning and Performance Team!
You'll be working alongside our Performance colleagues to deliver best in-class activation across paid media platforms.
You'll also be responsible for planning, briefing & optimising Paid Search marketing activity, to drive a relevant action to service Tesco shoppers.

- Assisting the Paid Search Manager in the day-to-day execution of Tesco’s Paid Search campaigns across Groceries, Marketplace and F&F with a focus on acquiring and optimising for new customers/growing revenue.
- Supporting the daily coordination and management of the external agency while also supplying to the development and upskilling of internal team members.
- Delivering regular reporting and in-depth analysis on campaign performance, track competitor activity, and provide actionable insights to improve Paid Search efficiency.
- Leading all aspects of planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns across key business areas (Food, General Merchandise, F&F), including monthly promotional campaigns and broader critical initiatives.
- Participating in internal campaign briefings, communicate channel strategies to partners, and provide performance updates post-campaign.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and business units to ensure flawless execution of activity aligned with overall business objectives.
- Collaborating closely with external tool providers, lead administrative tasks including raising and balancing purchase orders, and provide general team support.
- Previous experience in a Paid Search role working agency or client side working on a UK account.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in delivering inspiring briefs and feedback.
- Ability to develop impactful omnichannel comms.
- Ability to turn data into actionable insight.
- Experience with deep analysis and reporting skills.
- Ability to set meaningful metrics and assess performance.
- Minimum 1.5–2 years’ hands-on experience in Paid Search activation, either within an agency or in-house environment.
