The key purpose of this role is to deliver on our value strategy for customers by managing value campaigns and day to day price operations in order to serve our shoppers a little better everyday.

You will be responsible for
  • Oversee the design and development of a pricing database for reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate with price checking agencies to ensure high-quality data.
  • Ensure accurate price checking processes to support customer pricing.
  • Analyse pricing data and deliver insights through weekly and seasonal reports.
  • Support the Commercial team with daily implementation of the Price & Promotion policy.
  • Manage pricing campaign accuracy ensuring legal compliance and timely delivery.
  • Influence stakeholders by reporting insights on price comparisons with competitors and identify opportunities to drive value for customers.
  • Select product matches for competitor baskets using price checks and analysis.
  • Assist in developing and updating Price and Promotion Policies.
  • Manage the weekly Price Group agenda and facilitate in customer focused decision-making.
  • Introduce new tools and platforms to improve pricing data collection and reporting efficiency.
You will need
  • Significant experience of managing projects and processes within a customer driven environment
  • An understanding of the grocery retail market
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proven ability to deliver results under the pressure of a fast moving dynamic environment
  • Strong Excel and Database Skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and a general comfort with numbers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Tableau, Python, SQL, R an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM with exposure to business and data analytics.
