About the role
As Product Manager for Developer Experience Development (DXD), I am accountable for evolving and delivering product outcomes that reduce developer cognitive load and save engineering time by improving how engineers find knowledge, discover and consume APIs, and use DevBot to complete tasks faster and more safely.
My customers are internal developers and engineering teams. I will use discovery, data, and strong stakeholder partnerships to shape and deliver improvements across the developer journey—beyond a single portal surface—driving measurable adoption and time savings.

You will be responsible for

·       Evolve and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for DXD problem spaces (e.g.: DevBot, API discoverability, knowledge finding) aligned to Developer Experience priorities.

·       Partner with peers and senior stakeholders to set direction, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment to wider business strategy and engineering needs.

·       Define and manage OKRs and success measures, focusing on usage/adoption and time saved for engineers.

·       Understand key user personas (engineers, tech leads, platform contributors) and their pain points; maintain a continuous discovery loop through research and usage data.

·       Identify the highest-friction developer journeys (e.g., find the right API, find the right guidance, get an answer from DevBot) and translate them into outcome-focused opportunities.

·       Prioritise work and decisively resolve trade-offs with peers and senior leaders, balancing value, usability, risk, and engineering effort.

·       Document and explain requirements using user stories with acceptance criteria; help the team break complex work into smaller increments of value.

·       Steer releases scope with engineering counterparts to deliver maximum business value with least effort.

·       Drive acceptance and adoption of new capabilities with product and engineering stakeholders through enablement, comms, and feedback loops.

·       Communicate roadmap, progress, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels.

·       Provide leadership and direction to the cross-functional team on near-term priorities; raise risks early and work collaboratively to unblock delivery.

You will need
• Proven experience delivering digital products end-to-end, partnering closely with engineering, design and analytics.
• Strong track record of defining problems, shaping hypotheses, testing solutions, and shipping measurable improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to write high-quality requirements and lead prioritisation with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with technical concepts (APIs, developer workflows, documentation, discovery); not required to code.

Nice to have:

• Experience with developer platforms / internal tools / knowledge systems, and/or API ecosystems and discoverability challenges.
• Familiarity with conversational interfaces (bots/assistants), search relevance, content quality, and adoption loops.
