About the role
 Our Property Graduate Programme is designed for graduates who are excited by the dynamic nature of retail and have a keen interest in property, real estate, and facilities management. From day one, you’ll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team that plays a key role in shaping the physical environment of Tesco stores across Ireland. You’ll contribute to real projects that impact our store network, whether it’s supporting site acquisitions, refurbishments, lease negotiations, or sustainability initiatives. Your work will be visible to senior leaders and will directly influence how we serve our customers. Alongside your core responsibilities, you’ll take part in a structured 18-month development plan that includes: Upskilling workshops tailored to property and retail operations Personal development sessions to build your confidence and leadership skills Field trips to stores and property sites to see your work in action Networking opportunities with graduates and leaders across the business At Tesco, graduates are given meaningful responsibility early on, supported by a strong network of mentors and colleagues who are invested in your success. Salary: €35,000 Programme start date: 7 September 2026

You will be responsible for
The Property Graduate Programme includes two placements: Stretch Placement: A role outside your academic background to broaden your experience and skillset Core Placement: A role aligned with your area of study or interest in property Each placement is structured around clear deliverables, ensuring you can track your progress and make a measurable impact. With over 150 stores across Ireland, our property team manages a diverse portfolio, offering you exposure to: Store development and refurbishment projects Lease and asset management · Strategic planning and site selection · Sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives You’ll gain hands-on experience in how property decisions support Tesco’s long-term growth and customer experience.   You will be completing core work for your function as well as a collaborative project with other Graduates. This project will be presented to management towards the end of your programme.
