Tesco Czech Republic Hybrid Full-Time Permanent Apply by 22-Sep-2026
About the role

We’re looking for an inquisitive, versatile and experienced Senior UX Writer to join our growing team in Czechia, Prague.

As a UX writer at our challenger supermarket, you’ll be helping improve and evolve our digital experiences, making shopping easier for customers and work simpler for colleagues.

You’ll find new opportunities and improve existing journeys, delivering intuitive and effortless solutions across app, web, self-service checkout, colleague platforms and more. You’ll weigh business objectives with user expectations, crafting content that exceeds both. And you’ll use language to engage, inform, guide and persuade.

Teamwork and stakeholder engagement are key parts of this role. You’ll work hand-in-hand with a team of UX writers from the UK, Slovakia and Hungary, collaborating on projects and contributing to UX writing best practice. And you’ll regularly engage with product managers, UX and UI designers, engineers and researchers across Central Europe, the UK and India.

Translation and localisation are part of this role. But more important is the ability to apply UX writing best practice and design thinking as we improve our digital offering across Czechia and beyond. Plus, you’ll need to present your work, argue the case for improvements and adapt as scope changes.

Here’s a taste of what you can expect.

You’ll join a business that values your expertise, experience and insight. That nurtures your personal and career growth, with opportunities for every stage of your journey. You’ll be a crucial part of a growing business full of individuals who share your determination and motivation. You'll enjoy a hybrid role that builds the perfect work/life balance, helping you be yourself both professionally and personally. And a benefits package that’s more than competitive.
