About the role
Responsible for end to end execution of Purchase Order processes, including creation, amendments and receipting of goods and services in the system, while ensuring accuracy, compliance with organizational policies and adherence to defined timelines.

You will be responsible for
Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities: 
Accurately raising orders as per request (Right Supplier / Right Quantity / Right Time) and following up with supplier on the same for on time delivery to ensure no trade impact. 
Ensuring timely PO initiating/amendments Project activation and budget uplifts. 
Assist with internal and external audit requirements. 
Collaborate and support Quantity Surveyors, Cost Managers, Operations Team and Finance Business Partner to provide Cost analysis, 
insight and adjustments as required. 
Ensuring compliance with Risk & Control Framework relating to Projects. 
Facilitating effective communication and coordination with relevant teams to ensure accurate outcomes are delivered on time. 
Ensuring SOP's are up to date and kept live. 
Responsible for completing tasks and transactions to meet agreed KPI's. 
Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes.  
Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques. 
Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives. 
Assist in training and mentoring new joiners in the team.
You will need
Proficiency in financial software and tools - Excel, ERP systems 
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business 
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
Administration, or related field. 
High attention to detail 
3+ years of relevant experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for 
cross-departmental collaboration 
Excellent Reporting & Presentation skills
