You will be responsible for
Job Summary:
To support the business in making informed decisions by producing reports, accurately mapping and matching the products on the 
MUMs tool, and overseeing processes to guarantee the output is checked and accurate.
In this job, I’m accountable for:
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities: 
- Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes 
- Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques.  
- Responsible for matching Tesco/competitors products based on the type, price and quantity as per the matching principles and map 
the competitor's products to Tesco's subgroups in line with the internal hierarchy 
- Preparing and publishing daily and weekly trade plan reports to ensure that underlying data is built accurately  
- Validating the output to ensure consistency and highlighting any potential issues 
- Allocating volumes in accordance with the priority missions 
- Publishing daily and weekly dashboard on MUMS 
- Performing adhoc research and analysis to diagnose recent performance and operational issues 
- Balancing and prioritising work across short-term projects and long-term initiatives 
- Staying up-to-date on relevant industry regulations, competitor news and share best practices 
- Collaborating with teams across the wider business, including Category, Insight and Channel specialists, to identify current/potential 
opportunities and develop the right solutions for our customers and our business 
-Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's 
- Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives

Experience relevant for this job:
- We need someone who is willing to learn about how and why 
Relevant years of working experience in the field of Buying, 
we do our processes. Previous experience in (SQL, Alteryx, 
Merchandising or Planning.
Tableau, Power BI) basic would be an advantage but a 
willingness to learn is very important. 
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, translating 
complex issues into clear and actionable frameworks and 
insights 
- Strong written and verbal communication, ability to engage with 
stakeholders at all levels
