You will be responsible for
Engaging with business & functional partners to understand the business context, define the problem and proactively identify the analytical approach
- Applying a deep understanding of AI/ML models, statistics techniques and analytical tools to develop robust solutions that solve high impact problems
- Writing structured, modularized & codified algorithms using Continuous Improvement principles (development of knowledge assets and reusable modules on GitHub, Wiki, etc.)
- Taking ownership of the assigned workstream and adhering to company policies and team ways of working
- Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of the key components of the solution by operating in an agile manner, breaking down objectives into tactical tasks and managing individual timelines
- Effectively communicating the work done with peers as well as with business partners and using clear data-backed arguments to influence the direction of the workstream
- Working closely with the manager to ensure that the solution is developed with consumption in mind and ensure that the business is able to use and derive impact from it
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest in AI/ML and retail analytics concepts and disseminating the knowledge among colleagues.
- Working in collaborationg with the rest of the team and providing technical guidance to junior members of the team
You will need
Math/Statistics: Expertise in Statistical methods and Hypothesis testing.
- AI/ML: Deep experience in multiple AI/ML techniques and applications: Clustering, Regression, Classification, Time series forecasting, Optimization, Recommendation Engine, etc.
- Programming: Strong skills in SQL, Python.
- Research and Development: Experience in researching and developing AI/ML solutions.
- Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, Problem-solving, Storyboarding
