We are actively seeking a dynamic Software Development Manager to lead our engineering team in delivering cutting-edge, cloud-based solutions for Tesco Retail's Workforce Management.

Salary
UoP: 31 000 - 40 000 PLN gross/month

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Java or NodeJS
- Expertise in modern testing frameworks and tools, including Playwright. Ability to guide and support test automation efforts
- Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines and IaaC
- Experience in building and maintaining testing environments
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (for eg. Docker / Kubernetes)
- Experience and familiarity with Public Cloud platforms such as Azure
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Personal Skills:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing software development teams of 6-8 people
- At least 5 years of hands of testing / QA experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven success in building, developing, and leading high-performance software engineering teams
- Experience in hiring, retaining, and developing engineers, ensuring growth opportunities and maintaining motivation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Expertise in defining and executing QA strategies through the entire product lifecycle (influencing the requirements and creating comprehensive test cases)
- Deep understanding of various testing methodologies and testing types (e.g., functional, performance, security, usability).
