About the role
We are looking for a Devops engineer to support our Developers, infrastructure, Security and Operations in retail world. You will work with a team of highly skilled developers, Architect’s and product managers throughout the entire software development life cycle of the products we own.
In this role, You should be able to work with an agile fast paced work environment who focus on quality, security and the end user impact. Responsible for deploying and maintaining our cloud infrastructure in Aws and Azure.

You will be responsible for
🔹 Big Data Platform Operations & Engineering
• Provision and manage distributed data platforms (batch & streaming).
• Support cluster builds and lifecycle management (Dev/PPE/Prod).
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high availability.
• Perform performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies.
🔹 MLOps & AI Platform Enablement
• Enable ML training and inference environments across cloud platforms.
• Automate model deployment workflows (CI/CD for ML).
• Manage model registries, artifact storage, and environment dependencies.
• Implement monitoring for model performance and drift detection.
• Support GPU/compute resource management for AI workloads.
• Standardize reusable ML deployment templates and infrastructure patterns.
🔹 Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Bicep/ARM.
• Automate environment builds (AKS clusters, storage, networking).
• Drive GitOps-based deployment practices.
• Implement observability (logs, metrics, alerts).
• Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
🔹 Security & Governance
• Implement RBAC, IAM, and least-privilege access models.
• Ensure GDPR and enterprise security compliance.
• Maintain audit logs and access reporting automation.
• Support secure data movement and network configurations
You will need
• At least 6+ years’ experience working in infrastructure and cloud platform.
• Experience using any versioning control system like Git and Setting up repositories, branching and access controlling
• Hands-on with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure git and git workflows
• Good knowledge on K8s cluster build, resource management, Security, Storage/persistent volume, Load balancing.
• Hands on with containerization and orchestration tools like docker and Kubernetes
• Must have a strong experience in provisioning and deployment of PaaS and IaaS services like Azure AD, AKS, Storage, Networking, Compute, Azure Key Vault etc.)
• setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Identifying cyber-security measures by vulnerability assessment tools like synk , defender etc.
• Hands on with any one of the monitoring tools like grafana , prometheus App-D Newrelic
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Continuous Integration, and Continuous deployments.
• Good understanding of autoscaling, predictive scaling at microservices and monolithic platforms like VMs or Virtualization for business requirements
• Working knowledge on OS platforms like Linux and windows
• Good understanding of azure services like VM scale sets, networking, monitoring insights, licencing etc.
• Able to setup Jenkins server and integrate with the services and tools.
• Understanding the HADR technologies , build and migrate workloads as per business requirements.
• Working knowledge on at least one database technology in azure, Experience in database modelling (MySQL/NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB)
• Hands on experience on Azure/AWS RBAC to setup access policies.
• Should be able to review, find and clean up unutilized or orphan resources in azure.
• Migration experience of On-prem to cloud and cloud to cloud.
Good to have:
• Good development experience in java , Dotnet or SQL’s
• Good understanding of software development methodologies and architectures.
• Familiar with centralised logging solutions like Splunk
• Familiar with code quality and security solutions like Synk and Kenna
