WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Are you passionate about connecting the right people with the right opportunities? At Tesco, we’re looking for an inspiring leader to head up our Talent Acquisition Centre in Prague.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead and support a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists who recruit for our stores and distribution centre.
- Plan and deliver hiring peak seasons – ensuring our stores are fully staffed when it matters most.
- Keep track of vacancies across the business and jump in with support wherever it's needed.
- Track and report on key hiring metrics.
- Keep an eye on the market – what are others doing, and how can we do it better?
- Use a mix of channels (social media, print, radio, etc.) to attract great candidates and build engaging campaigns.
- Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to find smart, creative ways to reach new talent across the Czech Republic.
- Monitor what’s working, what’s not, and continuously look for ways to improve how we hire.
- Implement new ideas and projects to make our talent acquisition processes even smoother and more efficient.
- Act as a trusted partner to Store Managers and People Partners, helping them find the talent they need.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners like agencies, schools, and platform providers.
- Own and manage our talent acquisition system – Teamio.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Native Czech speaker with a strong feel for language - you’ll be creating and localizing recruitment campaigns.
- Fluent English – you’ll be part of an international team.
- Confidence with MS Office – especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel (including basic functions like pivot tables, SUM, VLOOKUP, IF, etc.).
- Great communication and organisational skills – you’ll work with store leaders, central office teams, and external suppliers.
- Experience leading a small team.
- Retail experience is a big plus – but not a must.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with Teamio is a bonus.
