Be the Catalyst for Innovation and Business Growth
Are you ready to be the lynchpin that unlocks transformative business value? We're searching for a dynamic and driven Technical Programme Manager (TPM) to lead our cutting-edge Scan Assist Programme. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in revolutionising the way we deliver solutions, working at the heart of technology, teamwork, and real business impact.
The TPM role we’re looking to fill is for someone to manage all aspects of the deployment with the support of a well-oiled deployment team; to manage the use cases that we layer over the top; and to provide the layer of programme rigour to keep everything aligned. This role is critical as we need more stores to unlock more value, and we also need more use cases to leverage the investment we’ve already made.
About the Role
As our Technical Programme Manager overseeing Scan Assist you will be the central force ensuring effective and efficient delivery between internal teams and third-party partners. Your mission: ensure seamless delivery, anticipate and respond to trends, and keep our leadership team in the loop on progress and challenges. Your ability to connect the dots, adapt plans, and keep everyone aligned will be crucial to our ongoing success.
The Scan Assist solution uses a 3rd party provided AI-based inferencing solution to identify where a customer or colleague at a till has not correctly scanned an item, resulting in a loss (shrink) to the business. Messaging on the till then prompts the person to correct the scan and avoid the loss. We have started by rolling this solution out to ~400 stores at the SCO tills, and are now overlaying mainbank tills and other use cases such as items left in trolley.
