WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:

Value Proposition Strategy & Development

• Develop and lead customer-centric Value Propositions aligned with Tesco priorities, local market needs, and commercial opportunities.
• Translate customer insight, data, and market intelligence into actionable commercial strategies.
• Create integrated annual and seasonal plans targeting key customer missions to drive frequency, basket growth, and loyalty.
• Continuously innovate and improve Value events, campaigns, and promotional mechanics to strengthen value perception.
• Support delivery of the full promotional agenda with a clear focus on sales impact

End-to-End Ownership & Governance

• Own the proposition gate process end-to-end
• Lead local projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders across Customer, Trade, Pricing, Clubcard, Product, Finance, and Operations.
• Ensure alignment and execution of the Country Master Plan in line with the CE Business Plan (E2E).

Insight, Market & Competitor Focus

• Work closely with Insights and Data teams to deeply understand customer behaviour, missions, and value perception.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  to proactively identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Generate fresh initiatives and seasonal opportunities to strengthen competitiveness.

Couponing & Loyalty Integration

• Ensure couponing strategy effectively supports the overall Value Proposition and commercial objectives.
• Couponing E2E execution Collaborate across Customer,
  Clubcard, and Product teams to deliver timely, efficient, and accurate coupon execution.
• Support other priorities as assigned by your line manager.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• University education
• 3-4 years of professional experience in the wider business, ideally customer or product, with knowledge of customer insights and trends
• Advanced level of English language (C1)
• Communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking
• Team player
• Problem solving
• Customer focused
