You will be responsible for

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:

Ensure a clear understanding of our market performance in the context of competitor trade plans and activities. Actively support and guide the Proposition, Trade, and Pricing teams with data-driven actions, while serving as a strategic partner in sales and budget planning for Finance, Clubcard, and the Proposition teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for DH evaluations, ensuring that all insights and recommendations are properly assessed and fully integrated into commercial decision-making. Additionally, provide end-to-end support across the full promotional agenda to maximise sales impact and value delivery.

SALES:

  • Preparation of regular summaries including both internal and external data to give business visibility about performance, identifying threads/opportunities.,
  • End to end understanding and commentary of the weekly, periodic, yearly performance on main KPIs on category level (sales, promo, price, competitors activities, competitor's pricing strategy).
  • Contribution to sales forecasting and budgeting process in close collaboration with Finance
  • Input all activities to financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Filling the sales gaps with the right activities
  • Daily, weekly, periodical, yearly understanding of sales performance, preparation of key comments how we perform on the market identification of key risk and bringing proposals + Weekly price comments
  • Weekly OP & Analysing category performance &Trade meetings

PRICE: 

  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure there is a relevant, transparent and simple monitoring in place regarding price competitiveness.
  • Articulate a price insight narrative and engage the local leadership team about it. The insights are based on a good understanding of the market trends as well as competitor activities
  • Ensure price insight is embedded into the broader customer insight scope, as well as feeding it into proposition creation.

MARKET OVERVIEW - TRENDS:

  • Competitors weekly overview, monitoring what has been changed year in year

PROCESS MANAGEMENT:

  • Leading projects related to Value stream, coordinate general activities and drive the business
  • Supporting Product governance meeting.
  • Engage & support all project as per line manager request
You will need

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • University education
  • Min. 4-5 years of relevant working experience 
  • Advanced level of English language knowledge (B2)
  • Experience in Product/ Buying/ Insight/ Economic/ Finance/ FMCG is an advantage
  • MS Office
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills,
  • Team player
  • Customer focused
