You will be responsible for

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and driven Global Process Experience Senior Consultant to join our Global Process Experience (GPX) team — a dynamic group driving transformation across Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bangalore, and the UK.

In this role, you'll drive Continuous Improvement (CI), Operational Excellence (OpEx), and Process Maturity across global Functions and Operations — both within and beyond Tesco Business Services (TBS), to deliver measurable benefits for our Customers, Suppliers, and Colleagues.

You'll play a pivotal role in Cost Transformation Discovery, and promoting, facilitating, and delivering the Process Experience agenda globally — ensuring our operations continually evolve and excel.

What You'll Do

  • Support and train individuals and teams across regions to identify improvement opportunities and implement impactful solutions.
  • Partner with business leaders and GPX Partners to proactively uncover efficiency opportunities across people, process, and technology.
  • Lead and facilitate strategic Kaizen events, leadership workshops, and capability-building sessions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Service Experience, Digital, etc.) to ensure CI initiatives align seamlessly with broader business change programs.
  • Embed PDCA thinking as a core way of working, fostering continual learning and improvement.
  • Measure and report benefits and progress through structured programme governance and post-implementation reviews (PIRs).
  • Support business case creation and cost transformation discovery to identify efficiencies and deliver tangible value.
  • Champion and sustain the OpEx/CI culture across Tesco through coaching, mentoring, and leadership engagement.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in driving Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence within a multinational or shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Change Management methodologies (certification preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation, mentor others, and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in Project and Programme Management, Business Case Development, and Cost-Benefit Analysis.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills in English (C1 level or higher).
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for driving sustainable, data-backed improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 3-4 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or related areas
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Lean Advanced Practitioner, Green Belt or equivalent preferred)
  • Project and Change Management certification/experience
  • Proven ability to deliver cost transformation and process optimization initiatives
  • English fluency (C1 level or higher)
