About the role
Lead Quantity Surveyor is responsible for ensuring that the quantity surveying team operates efficiently, delivering accurate cost estimates, and managing project finances effectively, achieve project success while maintaining financial control and compliance in line with objectives and KPIs.

You will be responsible for
Cost Control & Compliance:
Monitor project expenditures and cost variances in-line with budgets and forecasts by implementing cost control measures effectively.
Drive team to validates the quotes and negotiates with suppliers.
Quality Control & Approval Governance:
Oversee the quality and delivery of cost plans to meet team KPIs & SLAs.
Present cost variances, budget forecasts and project related spends to Property Approval Governance.
Risk Assessment:
Identify potential risks related to project costs and develop mitigation plan.
Maintain a Risk register for process.
Database Management & Reporting:
All database for Cost Management is maintained up to date.
Maintain overall projects Cost Tracking, Capitalisation and reconciliation until closure.
Capture and report team performance data periodically.
Participate in project meetings and provide construction cost and recommendations.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs for the team and facilitate technical trainings.
Maintain training documents and Operating model.
Continuous Improvement:
Driving and implementing CI Projects and innovation for the team.
You will need
Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering with minimum 10+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, including team leadership experience
Experience in construction management preferred
Proficiency in cost estimation software, project management tools, and Microsoft Excel
Thorough knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods with Supplier Negotiation and cost management techniques
