About the role

As the Product Manager for the Cyber Data Intelligence Platform (CDIP) at Tesco Technology, you will have an outstanding opportunity to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of capabilities for our data analytics and AI initiatives within Cybersecurity. In this role, you will ensure our Cybersecurity needs are met while improving user experience and driving data analytics and AI capabilities that boost cyber resilience and protect Tesco from emerging cyber threats.

This position is well-suited for a product manager with a strong data background who excels in blending product management and technology. You will be responsible for

Product Strategy: Develop and implement the product strategy for the cyber data analytics and AI capabilities, ensuring it aligns with the broader objectives of the team. Your ability to think strategically will be invaluable in shaping the direction of the platform.

Product Roadmap: Take ownership of the product roadmap, continuously improving the platform's capabilities to meet the needs of our users and other relevant parties.

Product Development & Releases: Leading the cyber data analytics and AI product development process from concept to launch, defining product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while also managing the release process for new features and improvements, coordinating with various security engineering and testing teams

Prioritisation: Prioritise features and initiatives, carefully balancing business value, user needs, and technical feasibility. You will ensure the most impactful work is delivered first.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with senior leadership, internal cyber data teams and wider security teams, security partners to position the product for success, gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure alignment with their needs.

User Experience: Champion the user experience on the Cyber Data Intelligence Platform by conducting research, capturing feedback, and iterating on features. Your dedication to user satisfaction and adoption will drive the success of the platform.

Encouraging Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture that promotes innovation, consistently exploring opportunities to enhance the Data and AI products and remain at the forefront of industry advancements. Your ambition and forward-thinking approach will drive the Cyber Data Intelligence Platform to new heights

Value Delivery: Lead sprint planning and release processes to ensure maximum business value with efficient resource utilisation.


You will need

- Technical background, with experience working with cloud platforms, ideally in data intensive products.

- Product Management experience, including developing product strategies, crafting and maintaining roadmaps, and driving product development in a sophisticated data environment.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to write detailed user stories, PRDs, and acceptance criteria.

- Excellent skills in handling relationships with various individuals, including senior leaders across different fields.

- Passion for user experience, with experience conducting user research, collecting feedback, and driving iterative improvements based on data-driven insights.

- Good understanding of data analytics, machine learning and GenAI product development concepts.
