The Cost Domain is a fundamental pillar of Tesco’s commercial operations, leading cost agreements between Tesco and its supplier partners. myProduct: Cost is at the heart of this transformation—an intelligent collaboration hub that empowers colleagues and partners to build, lead, and analyze cost agreements seamlessly.

The platform provides insights and analytics for buyer negotiations, helping Tesco optimize costs.

  • Annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary

You will be responsible for
  • Define & Drive Product Vision & Strategy
  • Contribute to the product vision and develop a long-term strategic roadmap, aligning it with business goals and collaborator expectations.
  • Take ownership of the product's outcomes and key results, constantly measuring impact and communicating value to customers.
  • Ensure the product delivers tangible improvements in cost management and negotiation insights.
  • Lead experiments, test minimum viable products (MVPs), and make data-backed product decisions.
  • Collaborate with UX and engineering teams to prototype and validate new features before scaling.
  • Share product insights, capabilities, and outcomes with other Tesco Product teams and the wider business collaborators.
  • Support and mentor junior product managers and peers, encouraging a collaborative and high-performing product team.
You will need
  • Proven track record in product management with a grasp of standard processes and methodologies.
  • Strong technical acumen—ability to understand legacy, tactical, and strategic technology solutions and collaborate optimally with engineering teams.
  • Experience leading a product roadmap and completing product backlogs to achieve measurable objectives and key results.
  • Effective collaborator with strong consensus-building skills, able to inspire change and influence decision-making across teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data-driven experimentation and using data to validate product improvements.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX)-led product development and working with design teams.
  • Prior experience in retail technology and understanding of commercial cost management processes.
